Liza helps students and families get started at MDB Tutoring by learning about their academic needs, goals, and learning preferences. She identifies if students would benefit from tutoring and helps match them with the tutor who would best fit their learning style and availability.
We have prepared supportive curriculum to help prepare students for their AP exams and college tests. If you are interested in joining group sessions please choose your subject and we will be in touch once there is enough interest.
All tutoring sessions take place online through Zoom. Upon paying for your session a Zoom link will be sent by email. There is no required format; your child can bring assignments, lecture notes, practice problems, upcoming exams, or questions from class and spend the session wherever they need the most support. Tutors adjust the session as questions come up so time is spent where it will have the greatest impact.
Can I choose my tutor?+
Absolutely. If there is a tutor you feel would be a strong fit for your child, you may request them directly. Our tutors bring different areas of expertise and approaches to teaching, giving you the flexibility to choose who best matches your child’s needs. Not sure which tutor is the best fit?
